Golf Tips From Andy Carr:

The Grip: Having the proper grip gives you the best chance of hitting quality golf shots. To Make the proper grip, start with the left hand. First make sure that your left hand is turned enough to the right so that you can see at least the first 2 knuckles. The right hand covers the left thumb and the club should be laying in the fingers. Also you should form a V with the right forefinger and thumb that points at the right shoulder. Try this grip to help lower your scores. Remember the grip is the only link you have with the golf club.

Andy Carr, director of golf at Eaglewood Resort, brings over 22 years of experience in the Illinois area. Carr has served as the golf pro, director of golf, at Eaglewood for the last seven years where he organizes tournaments, league play and individual or group lessons. Prior to his position at Eaglewood he was the head golf professional at Glendale Lakes Golf Club.
